Choosing the right dance class matters. At Central Arkansas Dance Center, we offer programs for preschoolers through teens from first-time dancers to experienced performers. Our classes build confidence, character, and community in a safe, encouraging environment, with options for recreational, aerial, and competitive paths.
Programs Include: recreational dance classes, acro and aerial silks, ballet and tap, hip hop and pom, specialty and inclusive programs, and opportunities for competitive teams.
A mix of classic technique and modern movement so every dancer can find a style they love.
From the first pair of tiny ballet shoes to advanced training and performance opportunities, CADC is committed to creating a welcoming home for every dancer and family.
Use this overview to quickly see which classes may be the best fit. Exact placement is finalized with help from our instructors.

Kindergarten–2nd grade: Recreational Combo and early technique classes
Ages 6+: Beginner Silks and Beginner/Intermediate Silks
Ages 7+: Pom Technique, Hip Hop, Acro Levels 1–2, and early technique classes
Intermediate/advanced dancers are placed into Acro Levels 3–4, Silks Intermediate, tap technique, pre-pointe and pointe, and competition tracks by instructor recommendation.
For dancers who want additional performance opportunities and a higher level of training, CADC offers competition teams that emphasize teamwork, commitment, and strong technique.
Placement & Expectations: Placement on a team is based on instructor evaluation, technical readiness, work ethic, and family commitment to rehearsals and events. We are happy to talk through options if your dancer is interested in taking this next step.

Beyond our core dance styles, CADC offers specialty programs designed to support the whole child physically, socially, and emotionally.
EveryBODY Dances is a warm, welcoming combo class created for dancers who may benefit from a smaller class size, additional support, or a more individualized pace. Our teachers focus on building confidence, celebrating strengths, and making sure every dancer feels seen and valued.
Families are encouraged to share any supports or accommodations that help their dancer feel comfortable. Together, we create an environment where every body can experience the joy of dance.
